ABOUT THE ROLE


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Passion to create a team that will deliver a great customer experience.
2. Manage a team to provide data & reporting support to our global HR teams relating to Human Resources core and enabling technology solutions specifically around Workday reporting. This support will be available to our HR teams through a variety of channels email, chat and ServiceNow requests.
3. Experienced in data cleansing, preparation and loading (must be Workday)
4. Experienced in preparing EIBs and loading data into Workday
5. Work closely with the global business to support HR with mass upload functions, and supporting the effective use of the Workday system. manage data quality audits within HR Systems and solve and rectify issues discovered. Whilst the main focus of this position is Data management there is also an expectation that the incumbent will support the global Reporting function.
6. Recruit, manage and develop a team of 1st line HR Data & Reporting Analysts who have the skills and personality to gain and build the trust of HR professionals from around the globe.
7. Develop sustainable data driven solutions with Workday and other ERP systems to meet the needs of our organization and business Customers.
8. Provide analytic observations and business recommendations, create reports on HR metrics to assist HR management in assessing the effectiveness of people management practices, including: recruiting, employee relations, performance management, retention, turnover, talent management, mobility, career progression, etc.
9. Ability to grasp new technologies rapidly as needed to progress varied initiatives and coach the team on same.
10. Ensure that that reports catalogue available in Workday is current and utilised and remains fit for purpose.
11. Helps drive cross team design / development via technical leadership / mentoring
12. Responsible for Workday report delivery by developing custom reports; designing, running and maintaining ad hoc queries; maintaining data integrity through consistent monitoring, testing and auditing of HR data; etc.
13. Provide consultative reporting support to both HR organization as well end user
Assist in training end users on the Workday reporting; develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines and documentation; assist in training new system users as needed. Assist in performing reporting system upgrades, enhancements and testing.
14. Working with HR Services and Workday, to understand their Organization Management needs and ensure the team and processes are ready to support them
15. Identify and resolve report functionality issues. Continually research, test and stays up-to-date on all system updates and fixes provided by vendor.
16. Build an effective process for ensuring ad‐hoc reports are specified/approved/built and then signed off to standards and within timescales.
17. Liaise between the HR System/Data team, Reporting Lead, GPOs and other content developers to build an effective knowledge base to ensure that the solution navigation and execution guidance to HR users is provided in an effective and consistent manner.
18. Serve as a key point of contact between the HR function and IT function when needed to support further functional requirements definitions, and support change management of roll‐outs, testing, etc., and defining the level of effort required and managing the delivery.

SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED

1. Significant HR system and reporting expertise, ideally in Workday functional understanding and specifically around data & reporting
2. Ability to communicate fluently in English
3. Proven ability to manage a team supporting a global business from one site covering varied operational hours and interacting with workers in many countries and with multiple cultures
4. Practical experience liaising with HR Teams and Global Process Owners in order to provide HR advice and support HR system functionality
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks virtually within a matrixed team environment
6. Experience working in a customer service environment and delivering against Service Level agreements
7. Highly developed communications, presentation, organisation and interpersonal skills
8. Proven ability to work with confidential data and instil data security and control values in the team
9. Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions
10. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in a related field such as Information Systems, HR, Business or equivalent education and experience.
11. Must be strong in Microsoft office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
12. Recent experience working with 1 or more of the following Workday modules:
• Absence Management
• Benefits
• Compensation
• Global HCM
• Time Tracking
• Workday Payroll
• Manager Self-Service
Conceptual Understanding in any of the following Workday technologies:
• Web Service APIs
• Studio
• EIB
• Cloud Connect
• Business Process Framework
• Configurable Security
